About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician who can contribute to the effective operation of the Saltbush Operational Sites.
Individuals will need to have a positive, flexible team-oriented approach, with willingness and desire to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
This position will give you enough variety to keep you on your toes and will provide the successful candidate with plenty of room to grow and develop.
The role is available for Goldfield's (Kalgoorlie/Kambalda) Midwest (Perenjori) andn you will need to be able to work across of all of our operations, as required.
DUTIES INCLUDED, but not limited to
Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems on heavy mobile plant, light vehicle, ancillary and support vehicles
Diagnose faults using OEM diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting equipment
Install, maintain and repair, Vehicle tracking systems, IVCS and two-way communications
Maintain equipment in a clean,



secure and serviceable condition in accordance with the recommended operating practices including the completion of a daily pre-start safety check.
Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with OH&S; policies, procedures and safe work practices.
Identify problems or possible improvements in our activities, services or procedures.
Undertaking other duties which may include operation of other plant and equipment where suitably licensed and experienced.
Essential Criteria
Current WA Drivers Licence including licences required to drive and operate all equipment outlined above
National Police Clearance
Complete Medical and Drug and Alcohol Clearance
CERT III in automotive electrical technology
Desired experience and competencies
Previous Work experience in a similar environment
Ability to complete standard forms associated with inspection and reporting requirements
Ability to use initiative to resolve problems and apply negotiation skills while making timely decisions that are compatible with available information and business goals.
Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health
Air conditioning handling licence
HR drivers' licence.
