About the role
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Registered Midwife (RM) to deliver compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care, ensuring every woman, baby and family receives the highest standard of support throughout their healthcare journey.
You won't be working alone.
You will be supported by the Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM), Health Service Manager (HSM), as well as the Clinical Nurse Managers.
Clinical midwife educators are available for additional support, and you will be connected with the Women's Health and Maternity (WHAM) Network for ongoing assistance.

Requirements
Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
You may qualify for a$20,000 sign-on bonusif you have moved (evidence required) fromMM1-2 (metro) location, interstate or internationally to work in our district.
If you do not meetthis criteria, attraction incentivesof up to $10,000may apply*.
Retention incentives of up to$10,000after 12 months of service may also apply.

Additional Information
*Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract.
All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions.
If your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive.
