Are you a highly organised administrative professional with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service?
Our government client is seeking a Procurement Support Officer to provide critical procurement and administrative support across a busy and collaborative team setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administration, ideally with experience in procurement administration, who can follow processes, take direction, and contribute positively to a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality customer service and act as a key contact for procurement-related enquiries, feedback and guidance.
Deliver purchasing, procurement, administrative and contract management support to internal customers and stakeholders.
Process purchase orders, work orders, field release orders and related procurement documentation.
Assist with the development, maintenance and document control of procurement procedures, guidelines, instructions and standard forms.
Support procurement-related projects, including research, reporting and process improvement activities.
Coordinate contractor meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and assist with stakeholder communications.
Support the development and delivery of procurement training, induction programs and training materials.
Ordering materials and processing a range of purchase orders, work orders, for regional delivery
Maintain awareness of procurement legislation, policies and departmental requirements.
Work collaboratively across a range of procurement teams and contribute positively to team culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ideally procurement administration experience
Strong administration and organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
The ability to follow instructions and work within established processes.
A professional and customer-focused approach.
Strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administration systems.
