We are seeking an experienced and safety-focusedOverhead Crane Operatorto join a leading steel manufacturing company.
Day Shift $*****
Afternoon Shift $*****
Key Responsibilities
Operate overhead (bridge/gantry) cranes safely and efficiently.
Load, unload, and transport steel products, bundles, and materials.
Assist with production, warehouse, and dispatch activities.
Conduct pre-start checks and routine equipment inspections.
Read and interpret production schedules and work orders.
Ensure accurate handling and storage of steel products.
Work closely with production and logistics teams to meet daily targets.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
Follow all WHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience operating overhead cranes in a manufacturing or steel environment.
Forklift (LF) Licence is advantageous.
Experience handling long,



heavy, or oversized steel products.
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Reliable with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
