I am working with a library network, covering various areas of Queensland, to hirea Library Assistant at the AO2 level for4 days of work per week(8am-4pm. Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri) at their South Bank campus.
This contract will initially be from 10 September to 16 October ****.There is a possibility of extension.
In this role, be responsible for:
Face to face customer service enquiries
Online customer service enquiries
Issuing and returning books
Assisting students with access to the organisation's library, equipment (eg printer) and systems
Candidates looking to apply for this position should:
Enjoy working in a customer-facing position
Be available to workevening shifts from 5-8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week
Have robust administrative skills
Have the ability to assist with basic IT troubleshooting
Have an understanding of different library procedures and policies
Have experience working in a library environment
