Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineerto support the delivery of reliable, secure and high-quality software solutions across enterprise environments.
The role will be responsible for planning, designing and executing manual and automated testing across applications, APIs, integrations and end-to-end business processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners and DevOps teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Analyse business and technical requirements and develop appropriate test strategies, plans and test cases.
Perform functional, system, integration, regression, smoke and end-to-end testing.
Design, develop and maintain automated test suites.
Perform API and integration testingacross enterprise applications.
Execute testing across development, test, UAT and production-like environments.




Identify, document, prioritise and track defects through to resolution.
Perform defect analysis and support root cause investigation.
Work closely with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes and improve software quality.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)and coordinate testing with business stakeholders.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain test data, test environments and testing documentation.
Produce test execution reports, defect metrics and quality dashboards.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, frameworks and automation.
Ensure testing activities align with organisational security, quality and governance standards.
Technical Skills
Candidates should have experience across several of the following: Test Automation:Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or equivalent API Testing:Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI or equivalent
Programming/Scripting:Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript or C# CI/CD:Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or equivalent Test Management:JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, TestRail or equivalent
Databases:SQL and database validation/testing Version Control:Git Cloud:Azure or AWS exposure desirable
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: From 80,001 to 90,000 AUD per annum plus Superannuation.
