Diamond Air and Energy is seeking a dynamic and results-drivenSolar Sales Representativeto join our growing team.
This is a full-time position based in Narangba, QLD ****.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of our solar energy solutions business, driving sales and promoting our high-quality solar products and services to residential and commercial customers.
As a Solar Sales Representative, you will play a crucial part in our company's expansion within the renewable energy sector, helping customers transition to sustainable energy solutions whilst achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key responsibilities
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking within the local Narangba community and surrounding areas
Present and demonstrate solar energy solutions to potential customers, explaining the benefits, cost savings and environmental advantages
Prepare and deliver tailored quotes and proposals for residential and commercial solar installations
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process and beyond
Conduct site assessments and gather necessary information to provide accurate solar system recommendations
Negotiate contracts and close sales whilst ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics
Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, quotes and sales in the company CRM system
Collaborate with the installation and customer service teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Stay current with solar technology, industry trends, government incentives and competitors' offerings
Represent Diamond Air and Energy professionally at industry events, trade shows and community engagement activities




What we're looking for
Proven experience in sales, preferably within the solar, renewable energy or home improvement sectors
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer groups
Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities
Knowledge of solar technology, energy solutions or renewable energy systems is highly desirable
Familiarity with government solar rebates, incentives and financing options such as the Clean Energy Finance Corporation schemes
Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport for site visits and customer meetings
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
Enthusiasm for renewable energy and sustainability
Relevant sales certifications or qualifications are advantageous but not essential
