ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a drivenSpare Parts Team Leaderto join our operations atBaranduda VIC ****.
This is a full-time, day-shift position where you'll be responsible forleading and coordinating the spare parts divisionto ensure timely supply of materials for workshop jobs, field service projects and urgent breakdowns.
In addition to overseeing day-to-day inventory operations, you'll also be directly responsible for mentoring and supervising aSpare Parts Interpreter Trainee, helping shape the future of our workforce by supporting their development and training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and coordinate all spare parts operations to meet internal and external customer needs
Supervise and mentor aSpare Parts Interpreter Trainee, fostering their growth and on-the-job learning
Source quotes, manage procurement, receive and dispatch parts
Control stock levels for both consumables and job-specific allocations
Manage inward/outward freight, warranty processes, and supplier returns
Maintain inventory systems in line with lean principles and best practice
Liaise with workshop, field service, and admin teams to anticipate and meet job requirements
Drive improvements in inventory systems, purchasing, and stock management
Provide high-level customer service and support to internal stakeholders
Perform stocktakes and support system accuracy
ABOUT YOU
Sound mechanical knowledge or trade background
Experience in a spare parts, inventory, or procurement leadership role
Confident leader with the ability to supervise and coach junior team members
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Forklift licence (desirable)
Enjoy solving problems, taking initiative, and seeing things through
