About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Casual Foodand Beverage Team Leader to join our Events team at the Australian WarMemorial.
This is a hands on leadership role suited to someone whothrives in a fast paced hospitality environment and enjoys leading teams todeliver exceptional guest experiences.
You will work closely with theOperations team to ensure events are delivered safely, efficiently and to thehighest standard.
The role is primarily focused on our events operation,including conferences, dinners, cocktail functions and commemorative events.However, you may also be required to work café shifts to support businessneeds.
The position will commence on a casual basis, with theopportunity to progress to a permanent position as our business continues togrow.
Key Responsibilities
Leadevent teams during service.
Coordinatestaff to ensure smooth event execution.
Deliverexceptional customer service and maintain premium hospitality standards.
Brief,support and motivate team members throughout each shift.




Liaisewith kitchen and operational teams to ensure seamless service.
Monitorpresentation, cleanliness and compliance with food safety and WHSrequirements.
Assistwith event setup, service and pack down.
Supportcafé operations when required, maintaining the same high standards ofservice and leadership.
Resolveguest enquiries and operational issues in a professional manner.
About You
You are a confident hospitality professional who leads byexample and enjoys developing others.
You remain calm under pressure and haveexcellent organisational and communication skills.
You will ideally have:
Previousexperience in a supervisory or team leadership role within hospitality orevents.
Strongfood and beverage service knowledge.
Excellentleadership and communication skills.
Theability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention todetail.
Apositive, professional and hands on approach.
Flexibilityto work across both events and café operations when required.
Availabilityto work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
