About the Company
Our client is a busy, well-established community pharmacy based in Mount Gambier, South Australia, serving a large local and regional customer base through a full-service dispensary and a broad range of professional health services.
About the Position
This is a 2 month locum opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to step into a genuinely busy dispensary, processing between 500 and 600 scripts a day.
You will work alongside a supported team to keep the dispensary running smoothly through peak periods, while also delivering the pharmacy's qualified services offering.
Day to day, the role covers:
High-volume dispensing across a busy trading period
Administering vaccinations
Conducting aged care medication checks
Supporting the full range of community services offered on site
The role suits a pharmacist who is comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced setting and confident managing workflow under pressure.
Key Requirements
Current general registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA under the Pharmacy Board of Australia, unrestricted
Vaccination or immuniser accreditation




Proven experience in a high-volume community dispensary
Available on site in Mount Gambier for the full 2 month contract period

Mount Gambier is the major regional centre for South Australia's Limestone Coast, best known for the volcanic Blue Lake and its surrounding parks.
It offers an easy, affordable regional lifestyle with a full range of schooling, healthcare and retail amenities, and sits within reach of the Coonawarra wine region.
The town is roughly equidistant from Adelaide and Melbourne, each around four to five hours by road, making it a genuine seachange or treechange base with city access when needed.
