A well-established Specialist Subcontractor in the construction industry is looking to appoint a
Senior Contracts Administrator
to lead our Melbourne team and strengthen our delivery of supply and installation commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of CAs, providing oversight across all project stages.
Manage pre‐construction activities, including quantity verification and use of estimating resources.
Approve set‐outs, detailing, and key project documentation, ensuring technical accuracy.
Oversee budgets, cost allocations, procurement, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.
Manage construction and completion phases, ensuring document control, compliance, and timely submission of variations and claims.
Finalise projects by reconciling costs, resolving outstanding payments, and ensuring defects and final analyses are completed.
Work closely with the commercial team — including Site Supervisors, Estimators, Warehouse,
and Executive Management — ensuring robust collaboration across all functions and providing clear reporting to management.
Skills and Experience
Ideally have a minimum of 5 years in commercial construction.
Experienced in mid-tier or large-scale projects.
Experience in supply and installation contracts is highly valued.
Prior leadership and professional team management exposure.
End-to-End project financial control.
Pre-construction and procurement capability as well as proven ability to capture claims, variations and close out.
Intermediate to Advanced level of Excel, and other estimation software.
