AGA are seeking a highly motivated Fitting and Turning Apprenitce for an immediate start.
The Role
Earn as you learn with a weekly wage.
Gain a nationally recognized qualification - Cert III in Engineering (Fitting/Machinist).
Four years of mentoring and support from experienced experts in the industry.
The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Fitting adn Turning in a workshop setting.
Use lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills to cut and shape metal.
Fitting and Assembling: Fabricate metal parts and sub-assemblies to build complete machines.
Maintenance and Repair: Diagnoses mechanical faults, fixes broken components, and services industrial plants or generators.
Precision Measuring: Uses fine measuring tools to check that parts fit together with exact accuracy and clearance.
Working in a safe, clean and team environment
This is a fantastic career-start prospect to become trade qualified.
As a Fitter and Turner apprentice you will receive both on and off the job training which will see you employed directly by AGA for up to four years.
About You
Reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic
Good communication skills and able to work in a team environment
Able to commit to a four year apprenticeship
Willingness to listen and learn
Genuine passion and interest for working in the Panel Beating trade
Understand safety procedures and work guidelines
