THE CLIENT
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing organisation operating across Australia and New Zealand moving through a large and exciting transformation stage.
They are seeking an experienced Payment & Reconciliation Specialist to take ownership of a critical finance function.
This role offers the opportunity to become the subject matter expert across payment operations, reconciliation and client settlement processes.

THE ROLE




Reconcile incoming funds and settlements against transaction volumes
Manage relationships with payment providers
Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies, exceptions and variances
Calculate and process client payouts accurately and on time
Validate provider fees including processing fees, chargebacks, interchange and FX costs
Monitor failed payments, duplicate transactions and settlement delays
Produce reconciliation reports and payment performance analysis
Maintain robust controls and audit-ready documentation
Support compliance requirements and operational risk controls
Work closely with Finance, Client Success and Technology teams
Identify opportunities to automate and improve reconciliation workflows
Support the business through its NetSuite go-live and ongoing optimisation
THE PERSON
Experience in reconciliation, payments operations, treasury or finance role
Solid understanding of payment processing flows, settlements and funding cycles
Experience within financial services highly regarded
Strong Excel skills with confidence handling large transaction volumes
Proven ability to identify, investigate and resolve complex reconciliation issues
Strong analytical and problem‐solving capability
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Exposure to NetSuite, ERP systems or reconciliation tools would be advantageous
Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline preferred
