Commercial Litigation Lawyer – Sydney
Our market‐leading Commercial Litigation practice is looking for a full‐time lawyer to join the Sydney team.
The role involves working with partners Ross McInnes, Katie Wood and Vincent Giang, supporting both Australian and international corporate and institutional clients on major complex commercial litigation and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
Handle major complex commercial litigation across a range of areas, including high‐profile disputes, investigations and inquiries.
Represent clients in significant corporate litigation, class actions, representative proceedings and regulatory investigations undertaken by bodies such as ASIC.
Brief and liaise with counsel, draft correspondence and prepare legal advices.
Prepare witness and expert evidence and assist in the preparation of final and interlocutory proceedings.
Provide clients with advice and assistance in conducting internal enquiries and responding to regulatory investigations.
Work as part of a commercial,
collaborative and dynamic team, delivering exceptional results while maintaining a healthy work‐life balance.
Qualifications and Skills
Between 1 and 5 years post‐qualification experience as a lawyer.
Strong commercial litigation and/or regulatory experience gained with a reputable disputes practice.
Strong academic achievements.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative workplace while also working independently.
Commitment to providing exceptional client service and contributing to a positive team culture.
Desire to develop a career under the guidance of leading litigation partners and senior lawyers.
