Supervise and support people completing community work across diverse sites.
Perfect role for people with hands-on experience in trades.Lead by example, coaching new field officers and building solid teams.Help people give back to the community while improving their own future.
Ongoing, full-time role earning $81,496 - $90,227 per year, plus super.
What you will do
Supervise and instruct people completing community work, ensuring safe, productive and meaningful activities.
Coach and mentor field officers, providing on-the-job training and support.
Carry out site inspections, risk assessments and safety checks to maintain a safe environment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and work sites.
Keep accurate records, prepare reports and contribute to ongoing service improvement.
The Community Work Programs work across four locations in the West Area including Geelong, Ballarat, Warrnambool and Horsham.
Primary location is Warrnambool, with expectation to travel to other locations as required.
About you
You must hold or be willing to obtain a current Certificate II in First Aid, and must have a full and current Victorian driver's licence.
A qualification in workplace health and safety or training and assessment is desirable.




Experience working on community projects and using a range of tools and equipment safely.
The ability to solve problems and think critically in practical situations.
Strong communication and teamwork skills with people from different backgrounds.
The confidence to coach, lead and motivate others while promoting safe and inclusive work practices.
