This four-year apprenticeship offers hands-on experience while completing yourUEE***** Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople to gain practical, hands-on experience in the installation, servicing and maintenance of air conditioning and cooling systems.
You will be involved in HVAC maintenance, repairs and installations on large-scale equipment in commercial facilities.
This role offers the prospect to develop the skills and knowledge required to become a fully qualified professional in this specialised trade.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist with the maintenance, repair and installation of air conditioning and cooling systems
Service and maintain both new and existing units to ensure optimal performance
Diagnose system faults and support effective solutions
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company standards and manufacturer specifications
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
This role may require overtime depending on project demands.
You must be willing to travel and work at other locations as needed, including early morning starts and occasional weekend work.
Full-time contract with annual and personal leave benefits

About You
We are seeking someone who demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, a practical hands-on approach and a solid understanding of computer software relevant to the role.
Key attributes and skills include:
Willingness to learn, listen and follow instructions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interest in the trade and enthusiasm to develop within the HVAC industry
Computer literacy, with the ability to complete digital documentation and reports efficiently
Previous work experience or related skills, highly advantageous
Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in hand and power tools
Reliable vehicle and a valid driver licence
Completion of a Certificate II in Electrotechnology or a related field, highly advantageous
Current Construction White Card, or ability to obtain one
Ability to pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check
