Your prospect
We're searching for a skilledSenior Manager - Asset Managementto play a crucial role in shaping the future of Queensland Rail's workforce.
This is a full-time permanent position working in our office in the Brisbane CBD.
You will lead the identification, prioritisation and implementation of asset management capability uplift activities across Queensland Rail's asset management framework, rail infrastructure and associated assets.
This role ensures that rail assets are managed safely, efficiently, and sustainably throughout their lifecycle to optimise performance, reliability, risk etc.
Reporting to the General Manager - Asset Management, you will:
Strengthen Queensland Rail's asset management capability by improving quality and governance of asset information, driving organising wide adoption of asset management practices
Provide strategic leadership for asset investment planning, condition assessment, asset performance, maintenance optimisation, renewal programs, and regulatory compliance in alignment with organisational objectives and industry standards
Lead the management and strategic direction for Queensland Rail's Enterprise Asset Management Systems,
along with planning, coordinating and reporting on enterprise-wide asset management maturity assessments
Proactively monitor asset management best practices and trends in information management and data analysis considering potential applications for Queensland Rail
Develop relationships with internal stakeholders, providing specialist expertise to drive asset management capability uplift
Act as a SME, supporting Queensland Rail's business areas with the development of their plans, capabilities and portfolio specific asset management systems
What we're looking for
You will have graduate and/or post-graduate certifications/qualifications relevant to asset management or a related discipline
High level of senior level leadership and management skills in delivering business outcomes
Extensive knowledge of best practice "whole of life" asset management
Extensive knowledge of contemporary frameworks to develop goals, convey expectations
Extensive understanding of contemporary asset management principles and frameworks, including AMAF, ISO ****x and associated best practice, with experience leading maturity improvement, compliance and assurance activities.
Demonstrated experience working with asst registers, GIS platforms, EAMs and other asset information systems
