FairWind are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Tender Specialist to join our collaborative Bid and Sales team.
The renewable energy industry is in an exciting growth stage and FairWind want to grow our team to provide comprehensive and qualified tenders for wind farm installations across the APAC region.
About The Role
The Tender Specialist – APAC is to lead and coordinate the preparation of high-quality, competitive, and compliant tender submissions that support FairWind's business growth across the APAC region.
The role works closely with sales, operations, engineering, finance, and other stakeholders to develop accurate technical and commercial proposals.
It ensures all tender requirements, deadlines, and client specifications are met while managing commercial risks whilst build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end tender and bid process for opportunities across the APAC region.
Review tender documentation to identify technical, commercial, contractual, and compliance requirements.
Act as a point for internal reporting and keeping up to update internal CRMs (i.e. SalesForce)
Coordinate bid activities and ensure all submissions are completed accurately and on time.
Prepare high-quality, professional, and compliant tender documents and proposals.
Collaborate with the Sales, Operations, Engineering, HSEQ, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams to gather bid information.
Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates, pricing models, and commercial proposals.
Identify, assess, and communicate commercial and operational risks associated with tenders.
Ensure all tender submissions align with FairWind's quality standards, policies, and client requirements.




Maintain tender schedules, bid registers, document control, and version management.
Liaise with customers to clarify tender requirements and respond to requests for information (RFQs) and enquires / clarifications.
Support contract negotiations by providing commercial and tender documentation.
Maintain and update tender templates, standard documentation, and bid libraries.
Analyse tender outcomes and capture lessons learned to improve future bid success.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and procurement opportunities across the APAC region.
Assist in developing bid strategies that maximise competitiveness while protecting profitability.
Ensure compliance with company governance, HSEQ requirements, and applicable industry standards.
Support the transition of awarded projects from the tender phase to project delivery through effective handover.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and industry partners.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance tender processes and efficiency.
About You
As the successful candidate you will have a passion for collating and submitting tenders and fuelled by being involved in winning bids.




Having at least five years experience within tender management you will bring a best practice mentality to the role and enjoy working with the broader business.
The qualities best associated with this position would be;
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience in tendering, bid management, or commercial roles.
Knowledge of procurement and contract processes.
Understanding of commercial pricing and cost estimation.
Familiarity with CRM and tender management systems (i.e. SalesForce)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Well demonstrated ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure with sound time management.
Client facing preferable experience in construction bids and RFQs.
Experience in the renewables or resources industry
