The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy kitchen environment and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to allfood safety standardsandoccupational health & safetyregulations.
Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
Report directly to the Head Chefand communicate effectively with waitstaff before service.
Prepare, season, and cookdishes according to recipes, using personal judgment and experience when required.
Test and taste food to ensure quality and readiness before service.
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment.
Portion, arrange, and garnish dishes for attractive presentation.
Prepare and cook meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other menu items for both hot and cold service.
Bake, roast, slow-cook, deep-fry, and grillfoods as required.
Prepare and present desserts.
Wash, peel, cut,



and prepare fruits and vegetables for service.
Regulate and monitor cooking equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, and sous-vide machines.
Estimate food requirements, requisition supplies, and check deliveries for accuracy and quality.
Demonstrate ability tolearn and execute new menusas set by the Head Chef and Owners.
Collaborate effectively with ateam of chefs and cooksin a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
Requirements:
Proven experience in abusy kitchenserving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and food presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Passion for cooking and continuous learning.
