Job Description
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will act as the primary commercial interface between the customer and operational teams, ensuring service excellence, financial performance and strategic account growth.
This is a high-profile role requiring someone who can confidently navigate complex stakeholder relationships, lead difficult commercial conversations, influence senior decision-makers and drive operational outcomes through collaboration.
You'll work closely with site leadership, transport, inventory, finance and continuous improvement teams to ensure customer expectations are consistently exceeded while maintaining strong commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the commercial and operational success of a key national warehousing and distribution account
Lead all customer-facing commercial engagement, governance and strategic planning activities
Drive service excellence and customer satisfaction across warehousing and supply chain operations
Manage customer reviews, business planning sessions and executive stakeholder meetings
Monitor and report on financial performance, contractual obligations and operational KPIs
Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, cost recovery initiatives and contract performance reviews




Partner with operational leadership to align commercial objectives with service delivery outcomes
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, automation optimisation and operational efficiencies
Support business planning, forecasting, budgeting and P&L; performance
Act as the escalation point for complex service, operational and commercial issues
The Successful Applicant
We're specifically seeking candidates who have come from an operational logistics background.
You may currently be a:
Site Operations Manager
Distribution Centre Manager
Warehouse Manager
Senior Operations Manager
Inventory Manager
Contract Manager
Customer Operations Manager
Most importantly, you will have experience managing large-scale logistics operations before moving into a commercially focused customer or account management position.
Essential Experience
Solid 3PL logistics experience
Beverage supply chain experience highly desirable
FMCG, food, grocery or packaging experience also considered
Warehouse and distribution operations leadership experience
Experience managing large customer contracts within a 3PL environment
Strong financial acumen with P&L; ownership
Experience working within high-volume distribution environments
Proven ability to manage demanding, high-expectation customers
Strong stakeholder engagement skills from operational through to executive level
Experience leading continuous improvement and operational performance initiatives
