Reporting to the Head of Channel Marketing ANZ, this
12-month fixed-term Category Manager
opportunity will see you take ownership of a key product category, driving growth through strategic planning, market analysis, and customer-led insights.
Working collaboratively with Product Managers, internal stakeholders, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams, you'll play a critical role in aligning business priorities, identifying growth opportunities, and executing category initiatives that deliver commercial results.
Leveraging market trends, customer insights, and data-driven decision-making, you'll influence category strategy, support product launches, and help bring innovative solutions to market.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Head of Channel Marketing,



Product Marketing and National Account teams to develop and execute category activation plans aligned to category strategies and brand guidelines.
As a marketing generalist,utilisinga broad set of skills to proactively manage all elements of the marketing mix to deliver short to long term brand equity consistent with the categoryobjectivesforyourproduct portfolios.
Develop and implement tactical marketing initiatives that support category objectives, deliver commercial outcomes and strengthen premium brand positioning.
Facilitate cross-functional alignment across Product Marketing, National Accounts, Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Research & Insights, Commercial Finance and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
Lead category planning projects and working groups, coordinating activities up to 18 months in advance to ensure business readiness and successful market delivery.
Leverage internal subject matter experts to develop innovative solutions that support category strategies, campaign objectives and customer needs.
Monitor category performance (Through S&OP; cycle), campaign effectiveness, competitor activity and market trends to identify risks, opportunities and recommendations that improve future performance.
What you will bring to the role:
3 or more years' experience in a marketing environment.
Experience working in a cross functional environment with multiple stakeholders.
Tertiary qualified in Marketing or related discipline.
High attention to detail, organised and the ability tomultitaskunder pressure and work onanumber ofcampaigns simultaneously.
Ability toarticulate how brandsand productscan drive category growth by driving frequency, AWOP, basket value, recruitment of new shoppers to the categoryand byretainingshoppers.
Have an understanding ofPoint of Purchase initiatives and how they can beleveraged.
Have an understanding ofcategory insights to develop activities that will drive segments of category growth.
