Site Coordinator (Maintenance and Cleaning)

The Armidale Waldorf School is seeking a
Site Coordinator
to oversee the
effective operation, maintenance and presentation
of the school's facilities, grounds and infrastructure, ensuring a secure, compliant and well-maintained environment for students, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Take an active, hands-on role in daily maintenance, repairs, cleaning and practical improvement projects across the campus.
Plan and monitor preventative and reactive maintenance, inspections and servicing.
Maintain accurate records and provide updates to our asset registers, master plan and site documentation.
Publish weekly rosters for our cleaning team and monitor quality of cleaning
About the Role:
This role combines hands-on maintenance with planning and coordination while supporting compliance, asset management and continuous improvement across site operations.
As a key member of the school community, the Site Coordinator contributes to the stewardship of the campus and supports opportunities for students to engage with and care for the living environment

About you
This role is suited to an experienced handyperson, tradie, maintenance professional or practical all-rounder who:
enjoys varied and independent work
takes pride in creating safe,
beautiful and well-cared-for spaces
values teamwork, sustainability and community
understands the importance of creating a safe, respectful and child-first environment
has strong organisation and administration skills
can confidently supervise and coordinate contractors, staff and volunteers
Desirable qualifications and tickets:
Relevant trade qualifications, maintenance tickets or certifications such as a White Card, Working at Heights or chainsaw operation would be highly regarded.
Requirements for this role:
Current NSW Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
Current First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain them
Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
You are physically capable and comfortable with the hands-on nature of the role, including lifting, carrying, using tools, climbing ladders and working outdoors.

WORKING HOURS AND REMUNERATION
Base Full Time Equivalent Salary:
$75,000 to $85,000 per annum, pro rata 0.6FTE. Equivalent to $37-$44/hour.
Regular Hours:
0.6FTE. Three days per week, 7.00am to 3.00pm. Some out of hours or weekend work may be required for school events.
Award:
School Operational Services Grade 6 - Grade 7. Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award ****. Renumeration grade based on experience.
