We are looking for an experienced
Operations & Safety Manager
to lead our operational team and help drive the next stage of our growth.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
This is a senior leadership position requiring someone who can manage multiple projects, lead a large workforce, build strong client relationships and maintain operational excellence.
Essential Requirements
Current Traffic Management Designer (TMD) qualification (Essential)
Extensive experience within the traffic management industry
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Sound understanding of Queensland traffic management legislation and standards
Current Driver License
Construction Industry White Card
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the business




Manage scheduling and allocation of traffic control crews
Lead, mentor and support operational staff
Review and approve Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs) and traffic management documentation
Liaise with clients, project managers and government authorities
Ensure compliance with all WHS legislation, TMR requirements and company procedures
Monitor operational performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities
Assist in business development and client retention
Manage resourcing, fleet and equipment requirements
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
