Practice Development Project
Are you an experienced dental assistant who loves creating efficient systems, mentoring others and helping a practice reach its full potential? We are a friendly, patient-focused two-chair general dental practice on Sydney's Lower North Shore that is undergoing an exciting refurbishment and investment in recent equipment. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside the practice owner to help redesign the way our practice operates.
About the role
Implemented a modern cassette system
Set up new surgeries and equipment
Optimised sterilisation workflows
Organised instruments, materials and storage
Developed inventory and ordering systems
Trained and mentored our dental assistants
Helped establish consistent clinical protocols
Contributed to creating a calm, efficient and welcoming patient experience
About you
You will ideally have:
At least 10 years' experience as a dental assistant in Australian private practice




Excellent knowledge of infection control and instrument reprocessing
Experience with modern dental equipment and digital workflows
Outstanding organisational skills
A genuine passion for mentoring and supporting others
A positive, calm and solutions-focused approach
The confidence to recommend improvements while working collaboratively
Experience setting up a new practice or introducing new systems would be highly regarded but is not essential.
