We're seeking an experienced
ServiceNow Test Engineer
to join a fast-paced project delivering custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. This role is ideal for a technically skilled ServiceNow qualified who specialises in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of ServiceNow applications.
This is not a traditional testing role. You'll work closely with developers, business SMEs, and project stakeholders to validate custom-built ServiceNow solutions, understand application architecture, and deliver high-quality testing across the development lifecycle.

This is not a traditional testing role. You'll work closely with developers, business SMEs, and project stakeholders to validate custom-built ServiceNow solutions, understand application architecture, and deliver high-quality testing across the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities




Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow applications.
Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing across custom ServiceNow solutions.
Validate App Engine applications against business and technical requirements.
Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
Collaborate with developers and Business SMEs to clarify, validate, and refine requirements.
Assess the impact of system changes across related processes and components.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience testing
ServiceNow
applications.
Strong understanding of
ServiceNow App Engine
development.
Experience working with
UI Builder and
Glide API
.
Strong JavaScript skills within the ServiceNow platform.
Experience testing custom applications and custom widgets.
Ability to work closely with Business SMEs and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Experience creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
