The Position: Operations Manager
Permanent position available in the Moama Office
Duties
Manage the day-to-day operations and activities of the Mill staff
Organize and supervise daily production to meet key performance indicators
Support Warehouse Supervisor
Stock control – supporting inventory management – landed costs and stocktake
Entering Production orders into Computer Program
Ensure Company Quality Assurance requirements are met
Maintain QA procedures – conduct internal audits
Assist with OH&S;
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO HAVE
Experience working as a team leader, supervisor or management position within a manufacturing environment.
Stockfeed industry (or similar) experience.




Demonstrated experience managing people and promoting an effective team environment.
Problem solving skills and solutions focused.
Competent Microsoft Office Skills
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Knowledge of QA & OHS beneficial but not essential
The ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Ability to work in a busy team setting.
