We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager (AO7/T6) to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects and programs in the East Arnhem Housing and Land Servicing team.

In this role, you'll:
Manage all phases of delivery for new and extended housing in primarily remote communities.
Perform the responsibilities of Principal Project Officer and on behalf of the Superintendent for housing capital works contracts.
Monitor project delivery to ensure works are completed within scope, budget and timeframe.
Oversee quality assurance for construction projects in challenging remote settings.
Maintain robust working relationships with contractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct site visits and pre-handover inspections for new and extended homes.
Maintain accurate project data and reporting systems.
Provide technical advice on housing construction and community-specific project issues.
You will bring:
Experience in project delivery, construction, design and contract management.
A proven ability to deliver projects to scope, within budget and on time.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
The ability to work effectively with stakeholders in a culturally sensitive and inclusive way.
Sound judgement, initiative and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
A willingness to travel to remote communities and remote centres for short periods.
A current NT C-class driver's licence or equivalent, with the ability to drive four-wheel drive vehicles for long distances, and travel by light aircraft.
