About Our School
St Clare's College provides a Catholic education for young women in the Franciscan tradition. We are seeking a qualified teacher to join our highly dedicated and experienced TAS Team for Term 4, **** and Term 1, ****.
About You
As aTechnological and Applied Studies Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
This position requires an educator who is innovative, future focused and has a passion for working collaboratively. The successful applicant will have the capacity to teach across the Technology and Applied Studies syllabus, including the Mandatory Technology course, Textiles and Design and Technology.
The successful applicant will:
support the mission and ethos of the Catholic School in the Clarion and Franciscan traditions
show highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
use creative and innovative teaching practices to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity and academic rigor
exhibit knowledge of emerging technologies and show the ability to integrate these to enhance contemporary learning experiences
be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively
be able to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning
utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Stage 4 Technology and Textiles and Design & Design and Technology over stage 5 & 6
be confident in the use of Adobe Creative Suite
provide evidence of a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
