You will play a critical role in strengthening financial control across the Commodities and Environmental Markets business, ensuring integrity, transparency and insight in how trading performance is reported and understood.

Product Control sits at the centre of Global Markets, providing independent P&L; reporting and maintaining a strong control environment across trading activities. The Commodities team works closely with Front Office, Risk and Technology to support trading across a diverse range of energy, metals and agricultural products.
Your impact
Perform and oversee daily P&L; production, ensuring accuracy, completeness and transparency
Provide clarity on P&L; drivers, market movements and trading activities
Maintain and strengthen the control framework across reporting, systems and processes
Perform and oversee key reconciliations between Front Office and finance systems
Partner with Trading,



Risk and Technology to support business initiatives and trading activity
Identify, investigate and proactively resolve issues or anomaliesDrive automation, efficiency and continuous improvement across reporting processes
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
Influence senior stakeholders through clear, commercially focused insights
We're looking for people who have
Experience in Product Control or Financial Control within Commodities or traded markets environments
Strong accounting foundation with an understanding of financial reporting frameworks
Experience leading or mentoring team members in a fast-paced environment
Exposure to trading systems and processes (e.g. Murex, Endur or similar)
Strong analytical capability, with experience in tools such as Tableau, SQL, VBA, Power BI or Alteryx
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
Professional qualification (CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent)
