Finance Manager, Technology Finance Strategic Investments

As a Finance Manager within Technology Finance, you'll play a critical role in supporting the strategic investment decisions that enable Technology to deliver world-class customer experiences, operational resilience and innovation across the Group.
You'll combine commercial thinking, financial expertise and stakeholder influence to provide meaningful insights, robust forecasting and trusted advice that help drive better business outcomes.

Technology Finance is responsible for providing financial control, reporting and planning services to the Technology division. We partner closely with stakeholders to understand their investment priorities, manage financial performance and support the delivery of current and future strategic plans.
As part of the broader Technology Finance team, you'll work alongside passionate finance professionals who are committed to influencing strategic outcomes through transparent insights and collaborative partnerships.
Your impact
In this role, you will:
Deliver portfolio reporting and provide analysis of financial performance, forecasts and emerging risks to Technology leadership and Group Finance
Support strategic investment and operational decisions through financial modelling, commercial analysis and actionable insights
Provide subject matter expertise on investment capitalisation and detailed capital expenditure forecasting
Drive forecast accuracy and help optimise project performance across the Technology portfolio
Identify, manage and escalat risks while maintaining strong financial control practices
Build trusted relationships across Technology, Finance and Group stakeholders
Lead process simplification and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and outcomes
Foster a high-performing, team-oriented and inclusive team culture
We're interested in hearing from people who have
CA, CPA, CIMA or CFA qualification
A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful business insights
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic outcomes
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
Proven problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
Experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting and investment analysis
A proactive risk mindset and commitment to robust governance and controls
