Your role
At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.
You'll be part of our Remuneration and People Operations team working within People Technology (primarily Workday) and based in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney. With a particular focus on compensation, reporting, and analytics, , you will take on a breadth of responsibilities – we encourage creativity and flexibility, as no two projects will be the same.
Key duties will include:
Configuring and supporting Workday Advanced Compensation processes, including compensation plans, eligibility rules, compensation review cycles, testing, data validation and issue resolution.
Delivering advanced Workday reporting and people analytics, including dashboards, calculated fields, report optimisation and data storytelling to support decision-making.
Building and maintaining Workday Prism Analytics datasets to extend standard reporting and enable deeper insights.
Maintaining Workday security (role-based access and domain security), including regular reviews, remediation of access issues and support for audits and compliance requirements.
Supporting compensation activities in Workday (e.g., annual review cycles, allowance updates and reward reporting), partnering with Reward/People teams to ensure data quality and timely delivery.
Working as part of a team to provide triage and resolution of Workday queries and issues raised on behalf of the business and People & Development stakeholders.
This is a 12-month maximum-term position to cover a period of parental leave. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home. We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you.
About you

You will have:
Experience as a People Systems Analyst or HR Systems Analyst using Workday.
Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation, including compensation plans, eligibility rules, compensation review cycles, testing and data validation.
Proven experience delivering advanced Workday reporting and people analytics (e.g., dashboards, calculated fields, report optimisation and insights).
Workday Prism Analytics experience including building datasets to extend standard reporting (preferred, but not essential).
Experience maintaining Workday security (role-based access and domain security), including access troubleshooting and audit/compliance support.
An understanding of compensation activities in Workday.
A curiosity in how technology can enable, support and enhance people-centred services.
