Our client, a reputable organisation supporting children and young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (ages 8-17), is hiring a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join their team in Manchester.
This is a rewarding opportunity to lead, support, and inspire young people to thrive and develop independence.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting children and young people with daily routines, hobbies, education, and social activities
Promoting independence, personal growth, and new opportunities
Leading shifts and providing guidance to team members
Managing the home in the absence of the Deputy or Registered Manager
Conducting staff supervisions and supporting team development
Overseeing health and safety procedures, including risk assessments
Supporting induction and onboarding of new staff
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people at all times




What you'll bring:
Level 3 Childrens & Young Persons Workforce qualification
Experience working within residential care or similar settings supporting children and young people
Solid leadership and communication skills
A caring, proactive approach with a focus on safeguarding and wellbeing
