Working alongside qualified andskilled painters, you will gain valuable hands-on experience,mentoring, and ongoing support throughout yourapprenticeship.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As aPainting Apprentice, your duties will include:
Carryingout measurements and basic calculations
Readingand interpreting plans and specifications
Erectingand maintaining trestle and plank systems
Handlingpainting and decorating materials
Usingpainting and decorating tools and equipment
Removingand replacing doors, windows, and components
Preparingsurfaces for painting
Applyingpaint using brushes and rollers
Applyingtextured coating finishes by brush, roller, and spray
Requirements
ABOUT YOU
Thesuccessful candidate will have:
Agenuine interest in undertaking a Painting Apprenticeship
AWhite Card, or the ability to obtain one as soon aspossible
Physicalfitness and the ability to perform manual labour
Awillingness to learn and work as part of a team
Apositive attitude,



reliability, and solid work ethic
Theability to follow instructions and take direction
Trustworthinessand motivation
Preferred (but not essential):
Acurrent driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Previouspainting or construction-related work experience

Eligibility Requirement:
Tobe eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship, you must be anAustralian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold an eligible visa withapproved working rights in Australia.
