ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced professional who can hit the ground running in this 6‐month max‐term contract role.
In this position, you will lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including several experienced Registered Nurses and a dedicated onsite Care Manager.
This contract offers an immediate start and will run through to February ****.
To support your transition, we are also pleased to offer up to four weeks of complimentary onsite accommodation for the successful candidate.
In the role of Centre Manager, you will foster a warm, welcoming and supportive environment, ensuring care is delivered with compassion, integrity and dignity.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this position offers the opportunity to showcase strong leadership and people management capabilities.
As the Aged Care Centre Manager with The Salvation Army you will be responsible for the operational management of the centre, supported closely by a Clinical Care Manager Chaplain Multidisciplinary team of care staff, including RNs, CSEs, Lifestyle, etc.
Areas of responsibility include compliance, staff management, financial management, occupancy and AN‐ACC elements to support the needs of our residents.
You will report to and be supported by your Sydney based Regional Operations Manager and you'll collaborate with our Support Services team and specialist professionals in aged care.

You will be a motivated and capable emerging leader who is ready to take the next step in your career.
While prior Centre Manager experience is beneficial, it is not essential, as we are committed to supporting the right candidate through a structured transition into the role.
With guidance from experienced regional and clinical leaders,
you will be supported to build confidence, capability and success as a Centre Manager within a collaborative and values‐driven environment.
An understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
Unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse through AHPRA
Demonstrated financial management experience in successfully managing a residential aged care home
Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal/communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to lead staff in the achievement of organisational goals and objectives within a team environment
Knowledge of all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, Professional Standards and Guidelines applicable to the role and willingness to work within same
Demonstrated industry knowledge with emphasis on business performance including AN‐ACC, occupancy, people management and budget controls
A desire to maintain and improve standards whilst understanding the need for strong financial stewardship and business performance
Knowledge and understanding of administrative processes, systems and service delivery
