The Firm
Some firms offer broad practice exposure. Others help you develop genuine specialist expertise.
Our client is an established and growing specialist law firm with a solid reputation across litigation, property and community title matters. Acting for businesses, insurers, property professionals, strata managers and owners corporations, the firm advises on technically complex and commercially significant disputes across eight specialist practice areas.
With continued national growth, this opportunity offers the chance to join a collaborative Sydney team where lawyers benefit from direct Partner access, structured mentoring, meaningful responsibility and genuine long-term career development.
The Opportunity
This is a genuine disputes role offering exposure to both litigation and strategic advisory work.
You'll work across the full lifecycle of matters, from early advice and litigation strategy through to mediation, tribunal proceedings, Court litigation and enforcement. Rather than being confined to one aspect of a file, you'll gain broad exposure across a diverse range of disputes while continuing to build your technical and commercial expertise.
Your work is likely to include:
Commercial and contractual disputes
Property and strata litigation
Building and construction disputes
Insurance-related matters
Insolvency and debt recovery
Alternative dispute resolution
As your experience grows, you'll progressively take ownership of more complex matters, work directly with clients and counsel, contribute to litigation strategy and appear across NSW Courts and tribunals.
Why Join This Team?
Competitive salary package aligned with your experience
Broad exposure across commercial, property and specialist disputes
Direct Partner mentoring and structured professional development
Early client responsibility with increasing autonomy
Genuine long-term career progression within a growing national practice
Collaborative team focused on technical excellence, practical advice and lasting client relationships
Who We're Looking For
3–6 years' PAE in litigation and dispute resolution
Experience managing litigated matters across Courts or tribunals
Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
Sound commercial judgement and the ability to build trusted client relationships
Experience in property, strata, building and construction, or insolvency disputes will be highly regarded but is not essential.
If you're looking to broaden your litigation experience, develop specialist expertise and build your career alongside experienced practitioners, we'd welcome a confidential discussion.
