Role Details
Perilya is seeking an experienced
Charge Up Operator
to join our underground mining team in Broken Hill. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a long-standing operation that values safety, teamwork, and career development.
As a Charge Up Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out underground charge-up activities in accordance with statutory requirements and site procedures to ensure safe and efficient blasting operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct charging, blasting,



and handling of explosives in line with site standards and legislative requirements
Safely transport, prepare, and use explosives underground
Maintain accurate records of explosives usage and blasting activities
Work collaboratively with the shift team to achieve production targets
Ensure compliance with all site safety policies and procedures
What You Will Bring
Demonstrated underground charge-up experience in metalliferous mining
Sound understanding of underground mine safety regulations and procedures
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Ability to work a rostered shift pattern
