Great communicators don't just send emails—they keep projects moving.
We're looking for a Communications Officer to join a major telecommunications project, helping connect project teams, field crews and stakeholders through clear, engaging and timely communication.
This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a desk waiting for information to come to you. You'll be out building relationships, asking questions, solving problems and making sure the right people know what's happening.
What you'll be doing
Build communication and engagement channels from the ground up.
Create project updates, bulletins and workforce communications that people actually read.
Partner with project managers, operational leaders and field teams to keep everyone aligned.
Drive adoption of digital communication tools and platforms.
Track engagement and identify opportunities to improve communication across the project.
Support project delivery and change initiatives as the program evolves.
What we're looking for
3+ years' experience in telecommunications, construction, utilities or another project-based industry.
Robust Microsoft 365 skills, particularly SharePoint.
Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A proactive approach—you don't wait to be told what to do.
The confidence to work with everyone from project managers through to field crews.
Experience in workforce engagement, change management or large infrastructure projects will put you ahead of the pack.
Why apply?
Hybrid working with flexibility.
Join a major national infrastructure project.
Work alongside experienced project leaders.
Competitive hourly rates based on experience.
Immediate start with potential for ongoing opportunities beyond the initial contract.
