Miraa Home offers SIL Accommodation for women 18 years and over.
The successful candidate
must be available for shift work, Monday to Sunday, day and night.
After a qualifying period, this will become a long-term full time position.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate knowledge in legislation, policies and procedures relating to the field of disability. Further, tolerance and understanding for those that exhibit challenging behaviours is essential.
The successful person will become a valued member of our staff and will continue to receive ongoing training.
About the Role:
The role will require the candidate to support our ladies with their daily activities, including but not limited to administrating medication andassisting in personal care needs.
Personal hygiene, showering, hair washing and dressing,
Administrating medication
Inspire and support our young women to achieve their NDIS Goals
Cooking meals,
Driving to appointment- medical, community and personal,




Assisting with every day life skills.providing domestic assistance, including
General household cleaning
Laundry and light household duties
Skills and experience:
Cert 3 in Disability Services or other relevant education,
Current Australian driver's license and reliable car,
Current First Aid Certificate,
Current NDIS Workers screening and Blue Card,
Strong verbal and written communication skills,
Experience in the beauty industry highly advantageous (to assist with facilitating our personal care/grooming programs),
Previous experience essential - minimum of two years.
Must be reliable, responsible and able to work independently
