Your Role
We are looking for an experienced
Tender Writer
to join our team and support Your Side's growth, funding and business development goals.
This role is responsible for creating persuasive, high-quality and compliant proposals to help Your Side retain existing funding and win new business. You will manage and oversee the bid process, work closely with internal subject matter experts, and develop clear and compelling tender responses that align with funder requirements.
The role will also support operational teams to define practical service delivery and operating models that complement our tendering goals and support strong implementation if bids are successful.
This role is
3 days part time
permanent roles reporting directly to the
Director - Growth Strategy & Product Development.
Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
Develop tailored bid strategies to maximise proposal competitiveness and align with funder requirements
Research funders, competitors and project requirements to develop effective win themes
Develop business cases to support the tendering process and prioritise opportunities




Manage end-to-end tender and grant submissions, including tracking, scheduling and meeting strict deadlines
Produce compelling, clear and high-impact proposal content that directly addresses funder specifications
Interview subject matter experts to gather technical information and incorporate it into tender responses
Work with Customer Care and operational teams to support the design of effective delivery models
Support the transition of successful bids to relevant teams for compliant delivery
Maintain a centralised bid library, including standard tender responses, case studies and corporate information
Your Skills and Experience
A tertiary qualification in Communications, Business, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline
Knowledge or experience in government, aged care, disability care, health or community services would be highly regarded
Experience in bid writing, proposal writing, tender writing or a similar role, with the ability to turn technical information into persuasive, plain English content
Strong business acumen, including the ability to understand and explain financial and operational advantages and impacts
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bid projects and deadlines
Excellent attention to detail, including proofreading, editing and formatting skills
Confidence working with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel and confidence using digital writing or proposal tools
