to join our team on a full-time basis. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our busy specialist practice.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome patients and provide exceptional front-desk customer service
Schedule appointments and manage patient bookings
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
Process billing, Medicare, DVA, and private health insurance claims
Handle EFTPOS transactions, payments, and invoicing
Coordinate communication between doctors, nurses, and patients
Manage incoming correspondence, referrals, and administrative documentation
Skills & Experience
Essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy requirements
Proficient computer and administrative skills
Desirable




Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or within a healthcare workplace
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience with Medicare, DVA, and private health fund claiming processes
