You'll enjoy variety in your day, working across different areas of the Recycling Centre, and helping the community dispose of waste safely and responsibly. If you enjoy being outdoors, working with people, and contributing to a cleaner setting—this is the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Direct customers to correct disposal points
Inspect trailers for hazardous or incorrect waste
Operate vehicles, forklift, and small machinery
Provide traffic management and site safety guidance
Support hazardous waste and weighbridge operations
Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
Use two-way radios and communicate with team
We're looking for a hands-on team player with a passion for customer service and safety. You'll ideally bring:
Year 10 certificate or equivalent
Forklift (LF)
licence and C Class driver's licence
Experience in customer service or waste management
Ability to work weekends and outdoors
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic MS Office and radio communication skills
Knowledge of hazardous waste handling (desirable)
National Police Clearance (under 3 months)
