Due to continued growth and expansion, Veritas Education are actively seeking Cover Supervisors and Secondary Supply Teachers to support a collective of secondary schools across Newcastle upon Tyne, for opportunities starting from September.
Whether you're an experienced educator, recent graduate, sports coach, youth worker or someone looking to build a career within education, we'd love to hear from you.
We are particularly keen to hear from:
Graduates with experience working with children or young people
Youth Workers and Learning Mentors
Sports Coaches and Activity Leaders
Aspiring Teachers considering teacher training
Experienced Cover Supervisors
Qualified Secondary Teachers across all subject areas
The Role:
Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Support student engagement and behaviour management
Gain experience across a range of secondary schools
Versatile daily supply and longer-term positions available
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people
Confidence managing groups of students
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Positive, qualified and reliable approach
