About the Role:
Echuca Regional Health are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Medical Day Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based care while working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care.
Conduct nursing assessments and develop care plans.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Advocate for patients and support positive health outcomes.
Maintain clinical competency relevant to oncology nursing practice.
Participate in quality improvement activities, education and training programs.
Support and mentor students, graduate nurses and enrolled nurses.
Qualifications/experience required:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in oncology and medical day unit nursing care.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to patient-centred care.
Understanding of professional nursing standards and codes of conduct.
