Recruitment & Mobilisation Officer MAINTAIN Group | Forrestdale, WA MAINTAIN Group is a specialist mining services contractor operating across Structural, Mechanical & Piping (SMP), Fabrication & Supply, Scaffolding, and Industrial Coatings.
We're looking for a Recruitment & Mobilisation Officer to join our Forrestdale office on a full-time basis, initially offered on a 6-month contract with potential for permanency.About the Role Do you love filling the gaps and being a fundamental contributor to getting the team over the line?
This is a broad, hands-on role combining recruitment, mobilisation, compliance, and operational support across our blue-collar workforce — shutdown crews, rostered site personnel, and workshop-based trades.
You'll be a key point of contact for getting the right people sourced, compliant, and mobilised, while also helping retain a strong labour pool for ongoing and upcoming work.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment
Source and recruit blue collar trades across shutdown, rostered, and workshop-based roles Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline ahead of demand Screen, shortlist, and coordinate interviews for open positions Support labour coordination and retention strategies to keep a reliable pool of workers engaged and available Mobilisation Process new starter mobilisations — inductions, PPE, travel,



and accommodation as required Coordinate mobilisation timelines with site supervisors and project teams Ensure all mobilisation documentation is completed accurately and on time Personnel Compliance Maintain up-to-date compliance records — tickets, licences, medicals, and inductions Track expiry dates and follow up on renewals ahead of site deployment Ensure personnel files and records meet company and client standards Operational Support Provide general administrative and operational support to the wider team Maintain accurate candidate and personnel records and trackers Liaise with site supervisors and project teams on workforce requirements What We're Looking For Previous labour hire recruitment and talent pool experience is a advantageous for this role to assist with casual workforce coordination Experience in recruitment and/or mobilisation within mining, resources, or construction-related industries is essential Experience in a blue collar work environment Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once Experience working to tight timeframes Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with candidates, site teams, and management High attention to detail, particularly around compliance and documentation Proactive and adaptable, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving Ability to work overtime where necessary Location Based at our Forrestdale office, Perth Metro.Employment Type Full-time, initially offered on a 6-month contract with potential for permanency.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (30-minute lunch break).
Some overtime and rostered on-call weekend work required.
