About the roleKG7 Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Contract Administrator to join our team in Winnellie, NT.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our construction projects.
As Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for managing contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with project terms, and facilitating effective communication between all parties involved.
This role is essential to maintaining the integrity of our projects and supporting the successful delivery of construction initiatives across our portfolio.
Key responsibilities
Administering and managing construction contracts from inception through to completion, ensuring all contractual obligations are met
Maintaining accurate and organised contract documentation, including variations, claims, and correspondence
Processing invoices and managing payments in accordance with contract terms and conditions
Coordinating with project managers, clients, and contractors to resolve contractual issues and disputes
Preparing and issuing contract variations and change orders with appropriate approvals
Monitoring contract compliance and ensuring adherence to agreed timelines, specifications and quality standards
Maintaining comprehensive contract registers and databases for easy reference and reporting
Drafting and preparing contract-related reports and documentation for management review
Liaising with legal and commercial teams on complex contractual matters
Ensuring all contractual requirements regarding insurances, bonds and statutory obligations are fulfilled
What we're looking for
Proven experience working as a Contract Administrator or in a similar contract management role within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction contract management practices and procedures
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail
Proficiency in contract documentation and the ability to accurately interpret contract terms and conditions
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in relevant computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and contract management platforms
Knowledge of Australian construction law and standard contract forms such as AS **** or similar
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve contractual issues proactively
Relevant qualifications or certifications in contract administration or construction management would be advantageous
