This is a pool recruitment process for permanent full-time, and fixed term full-time opportunities, with multiple positions available for immediate filling.

These changes are creating exciting new opportunities for experienced payroll officers.
Your payroll expertise will help build team capabilities and support on-going improvements to how the teams deliver high quality customer focused payroll services.

Suitability Requirements Your application should demonstrate skills, experience and attributes in relation to: Interpreting multiple awards and legislation when performing payroll functions Performing complex payroll calculations including Superannuation, Workers Compensation or Overpayments Being a strong team player by supporting others and proactively contributing ideas to improve team operations.
Other suitability requirements as outlined in the Job Description Form, will be assessed by panel throughout the selection process.

Pool Recruitment This pool will be open for a period of twelve (12) months from the date after the breach of standard claim period closes.
Permanent, fixed term, full time and part time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
The Department of Justice uses recruitment pools to build a bank of talent for future opportunities.
Applicants found suitable in this pool, may be considered for subsequent, similar vacancies, with the Department of Justice for the duration of the pool.
