About the Role:
Due to our continual growth, we are seeking experienced Hydraulic Technician's to join our Pilbara Service Department.
In this role you will be required to work across a wide variety of industries from oil and gas, marine to iron ore mine sites in the Pilbara and will be responsible for:
· Carry out shutdown maintenance on all hydraulically operated fixed plant;
· Onsite install and servicing of Conveyor braking systems;
· Onsite servicing of hydraulic & lubrication systems;
· Onsite install and commissioning of Hydraulic & Lubrication systems;
· Hydraulic tube and hose installations and replacements;
· Hydraulic component change outs;
· Trouble shooting of hydraulic systems;
· Maintaining compliance with statutory and site policies/procedures.
About You:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
· A trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting);
· Significant experience in the above field;
· Tertiary training in Fluid Power (Desirable but not essential);
· Current 'C' Class driver's license, (HR Desirable);
· Experience in Hydraulic Pump maintenance (Desirable);
· The ability to read and interpret Hydraulic Schematics;
· The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team;
· The ability to record and document daily processes accurately;
· The ability to liaise confidently with customers;
· Previous site experience pertaining to hydraulics & lubrication on fixed plant.
