About the role
Barista
As a Barista, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional coffee experience through the preparation and service of consistently high-quality beverages and outstanding customer service.
Working across our restaurant and kiosk operations, you will contribute to creating a welcoming café environment while maintaining coffee quality standards through grinder calibration, recipe consistency and equipment care.
The role also involves supporting daily operations, monitoring stock levels, operating POS systems, assisting with food and counter service as required, and contributing to a positive team culture focused on service excellence and customer satisfaction.
Food & Beverage Attendant
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional customer experiences across the venue's restaurant, kiosks, bar and function operations.
You will provide friendly and professional service, prepare and serve food and beverages, operate POS systems, maintain presentation and cleanliness standards, and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the venue.
Whether you are starting your hospitality career or bringing previous industry experience, you will contribute to a positive and customer-focused environment while ensuring compliance with food safety, RSA and workplace health and safety requirements.
More experienced attendants may also provide guidance and support to newer team members while working with minimal supervision.




Bar Attendant
As a Bar Attendant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through the preparation and service of high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced hospitality workplace.
Working as part of the team at Whaleback Golf Course, you will create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for customers while maintaining high standards of responsible service, beverage quality and presentation.
This role involves operating POS systems, managing stock, maintaining clean and organised bar areas, resolving customer enquiries professionally, and working collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to ensure seamless service and outstanding customer experiences.
What you will bring to the role:
Multiple hospitality opportunities are available, including Bar Attendant, Barista, and Food & Beverage Attendant positions.

Experience in hospitality, cafés, food service or customer-facing environments
Barista training or experience
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
Demonstrated bartending experience with strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits and classic cocktails (bartender role)
Latte art proficiency (highly desirable)
Approved Manager's Licence (highly desirable)
Current First Aid Certificate (highly desirable)
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work quickly, prioritise and work under pressure with initiative and minimal supervision.




Current Satisfactory National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
