About the roleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Telemarketer - Outbound to join the Australian College of Professional Development team.
This is a casual position based in Morley, WA ****.
In this role, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective clients, promoting our professional development courses and services, and generating sales opportunities.
Your primary objective will be to build rapport with potential customers, understand their needs, and convert leads into enrolments.
This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to develop valuable sales and communication skills in a dynamic call centre environment.
Key responsibilities
Making outbound calls to prospective clients using provided contact lists and CRM systems
Delivering compelling product presentations and course information to engage potential students
Identifying customer needs and matching them with appropriate professional development programmes
Building and maintaining positive relationships with prospects to encourage course enrolments
Recording accurate call details, outcomes, and client information in the CRM system
Meeting or exceeding daily and weekly call targets and sales objectives
Following scripts and sales techniques whilst maintaining a natural, conversational approach
Handling customer objections professionally and providing solutions to encourage commitment
Providing excellent customer service and representing the Australian College of Professional Development brand positively




Collaborating with team members and supervisors to share best practices and improve performance
What we're looking for
Proven experience in outbound telemarketing, sales, or a similar customer-facing role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and persuade prospects
Resilience and the ability to handle rejection whilst maintaining motivation and positivity
Excellent listening skills and the ability to identify customer needs
Proficiency with computer systems, CRM software, and telephone systems
Ability to work independently and meet targets whilst working within a team environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to adapt to a flexible casual schedule
A genuine interest in professional development and education is advantageous
Australian-based residency or work authorisation required
