The RoleLead and manage the team responsible for the lifecycle of the Geological Survey's geoscience applications across desktop, web, cloud and data platforms.Accountable for the performance, reliability and availability of the Geological Survey's systems and applications.Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of geoscience platforms, services and system roadmaps.Partner with geoscientists and stakeholders to design and deliver fit-for-purpose geoscience solutions.Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with governance frameworks, standards, policies and methodologies.Manage strategic relationships with stakeholders,
vendors and service providers to achieve agreed outcomes and value for money.Lead system planning, including capacity, scalability, risk management and alignment with organisational priorities.Oversee system support, maintenance and issue resolution, ensuring service performance targets and SLAs are met.Manage system requirements, analysis, design and implementation activities to support solution delivery.
Qualifications & LicensesPossession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or extensive experience in a related field.
